The original of this stunning Salvador Dali image was entitled Raphaelesque Dynamics (1952). It was a drawing (conte crayon) on paper. In 1957, a photograph of it appeared in the book titled Dali, published by Les Editions du Chene (Paris). The image was a study for Master Dali’s famous Exploding Madonna (Madonna in Particles). The Madonna image is formed of nuclear clusters of holy spheres and rhinoceros horn fragments. Both are classic symbols used in many famous Dali drawings. For Dali, the rhinoceros horn was the ’embodiment of beauty”.
This lithograph bears Salvador Dali’s original signature in pencil and is signed and verified as authentic on the reverse by Dali Archivist Albert Field.
