This is a very romantic and powerful image featuring classic Salvador Dali nude figures with striking similarities to Let Them Have Dominion from Master Dali’s Aliyah suite. The struggle and the figures of the sirens in the water echoes the technique used in the famous paintings Tuna Fishing (1966-67) and St. Georges Tuant le Dragon (1942). The original was a watercolor, and is thought to be a detail from a larger work.
This lithograph bears Salvador Dali’s original signature and was signed and authenticated on the reverse by Dali Archivist Albert Field.
