This Dali lithograph, Spectral Horse, is after an original watercolor entitled Molecular Equestrian Figure (1952). It is an excellent example of Salvador Dali’s corpuscular style. The bodies of the figures are formed by circles and ovals, highlighting Dali’s skill as a draftsman. Dali used a similar technique in the image Roman Cavalier in Spain (1954). This is classic Dali imagery at its best.
This lithograph bears Salvador Dali’s original signature in pencil and is signed and verified as authentic on the reverse by Dali Archivist Albert Field.
